Text 10(第20题为推断题)

I was born in New Jersey, but my family moved to New York city when I was five. We traded our three-bedroom,two-bathroom house with a yard for a small one-bedroom apartment. We lived in a neighbourhood called the Lower East side, and there were a lot of people with different cultural backgrounds there. This was my father’s idea. He wanted us to have a more cultured childhood. (17) we were closer to museums an d theaters and art galleries. My school had students from all over the world, and I learned how to take the subway every day. I also got to eat many different kinds of food, which was much better than in New Jersey. But there were some bad things. I didn’t like having to share a bedroom with my parents, and I don’t think they did, either .Also, the roads outside were always noisy,(18)and when it was hot, the garbage on the sidewalks made me want to throw up. But I want to say that my favorite part of living in the city was my neighbors. My neighborhood was mostly made up of families with kids my age, so it was easy to make friends.(19) Every evening after dinner , all kids would go to the park and play. And since everyone knew each other, it was really safe. I’m glad we moved to the city
