W: All right, dear. What time will you be home?
M: Oh, I don't know. I may go round to Pauline's.

M: ⑧Here's the new address of my new apartment, Judy. My phone number hasn't changed though.
W: Why did you decide to leave your old apartment?
M: I really didn't like it very much.
W: But the rent was low and it was very modern, even if it was far from your job.
M: I know. However, ⑨the neighbors weren't very nice, and the owners didn't fix things very well.
W: I used to live in a place like that. Something would break, and it seemed as if it wouldn't ever get repaired.

M: What do you think about the zoo?
W: I like to go to the zoo. ⑩I like to give all the animals names, like “Bert the Giraffe”. But I wish the animals didn't have to be in the zoo. I think it is good when zoos save animals and help make their populations grow.
M: Yeah, they can do some good things, definitely. Ah, what is your favorite animal?
W: My favorite animal… Ooh, let me think. I love cats, just as a pet. Besides, I'd pick the coolest animal—the monkey.
M: The monkey!
W: Yeah.
M: There're a lot of monkeys in Japan. Have you ever seen a monkey in the wild?
W: No, but my brother is a wild monkey.

M: You want to see me about my grades, Ms. Harrison?
W: Yes, Paul. Now some of your teachers have told me that you are not doing well with your studies. Is the work too difficult?
M: The work isn't hard. It's just that I don't have much time to study these days. Besides being on the soccer team, I'm also doing a part-time job and volunteering at the Students Center.
W: Well, Paul, tell me about your schedule.
M: Well, I get up at about 8:00 and start classes at 9:00. From noon to 1:00, I volunteer at the Students Center. I hardly even have time to eat my lunch. I have soccer practice from 3:00 to 4:00 and then work part-time at the supermarket from 5:00 to 8:00 every day.
W: So you do your homework after that?
M: Usually I'm too tired to start right away. I watch TV for a while and do my homework from 11:00 to 1:00.
W: Paul, you'd better stop playing soccer or stop working. Your school work is more important.
M: But I love soccer, Ms. Harrison. I guess I have to quit my job.

M: Today we will talk about Disney's new movie, Tomorrowland. Tomorrowland tells the story of a wide-eyed dreamer named Casey as she follows her curiosity down a path of adventure and danger. When a strange sign shows an alternate reality, Casey begins a magical journey into another world. On her way, Casey meets a scientist named Frank. Together they carry out a task to uncover the mysteries of a land that exists between time and space: Tomorrowland.
According to Britt Robertson, the entire movie has been filled with secrecy. In fact, she had to put on a short performance many times for the part of Casey before she was even allowed to read the script. Robertson says that being a part of Tomorrowland has given her a more positive outlook on the future.
Robertson auditioned for it for a very long time before she even read the script. Once she read the script, she just loved how full the story was. She was satisfied with it. She felt happy, like she had just been on an adventurous ride. She was also sad, joyful, and hopeful. She felt a mix of emotions after reading the script and it really got her thinking and it made her want to be a more positive person. She was very happy when she found out she got the role. It felt like all her hard work paid off.
